The turbocharged engine can travel from 0 to 60 mph in 5.9 seconds and zoomed through a quarter mile within 14.5 seconds, making the acceleration among the best in its class. Of course, the fuel economy isn’t something to scoff at either. The Mazda3 has a fuel economy of 28 mpg city and 36 mpg highway.
Exterior and Interior
One impressive aspect of the latest Mazda3 is its stylish and sporty exterior. It has a wide and bold frame, yet slim and curved on the side. There are seven exterior colors with premium colors like Jet Black Mica, Soul Red Crystal Metallic, and Platinum Quartz Metallic. The 2022 Mazda3 will now offer a new black-out Carbon Edition model, which features Polymeta Gray paint exterior, red leather seats, and many other black exterior elements. Premium models include 16-inch wheels with LED exterior lighting, power moonroof, and roof spoilers.
The Mazda3 hatchback trunk space measures 20.1 cubic feet, making it one of the most spacious vehicles in its class. Upper trims feature comfortable and lavish features like heated front seats, a heads-up display, and leather upholstery.
Technology
Drivers and passengers can enjoy the 8.8-inch infotainment display that comes standard. It’s easy to use and has a console-mounted rotary knob for control. Trims above the base model include the 12-speaker Bose audio system, Sirius XM satellite radio, and the Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility.
